Wadden Sea National Park

The Wadden Sea National Park is home not only to common seals, grey seals and porpoises. Many water birds also use this unique habitat to feed and rest on their migration. And biodiversity is especially rich among invertebrates. To give just one example: the salt flats are home to some 2,000 species. As many as 60,000 individual creatures might dwell within a single square metre.
