Explore the Elberadweg (Elbe Cycle Route) or the Weser-Radweg (Weser Cycle Route) for example. Both have been among the most popular long-distance German cycle routes for years. The Weser-Radweg has even been awarded four stars as a quality cycling route by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Fahrrad-Club e.V. (ADFC - German Cycling Association). The Grenzgängerroute Teuto-Ems (Teuto-Ems Cross-Border Route) and the Vechtetalroute have also been awarded stars. The heathland region of Uelzen is an outstanding ADFC RadReiseRegion (cycle touring region)!

For the more ambitious cycling tourists, the mountain bike trails in the Harz mountains or the Weserbergland (Weser Uplands) provide some challenging and athletic tours. And even road cycling enthusiasts will get their money’s worth here.
