No matter how you arrive (by bike, car or train), the start points for taking the Aller-Radweg are all easy to reach.

Ending in Eggenstedt (nearest station is in Eilsleben, approx. 8 km away = take bus 602)

The specifics of the tour
The first opportunity you have to cross the Aller is with the little ferry running between Westen and Otersen. Ferry times: 1 May - 3 October, Saturdays 2 - 6 pm & Sundays and public holidays 10 am - 6 pm.
The Kleinbahn-Express train runs some days between Verden and Stemmen. For more information, please visit this website.
The small reaction ferry between Eickeloh and Grethem takes foot passengers and cyclists across the Aller (10 am - 6 pm), groups can be taken by request by calling +49 (0)5164/ 18 15 or 16 94
