The Solling-Vogler certified quality region

A walkers’ paradise

Unspoilt and authentic, rugged yet full of charm – and surrounded by nature at its finest.

The Solling-Vogler region invites you to explore nature and adventure in a truly captivating setting. As part of the Weser Uplands, this walking region offers the best of both worlds: bordered by the romantic Weser river valley and dotted with picturesque towns and villages, it rises into a dramatic low mountain landscape with rugged cliffs and sweeping views. In 2022, the region was awarded the ‘Walkable Germany’ quality certification (‘Wanderbares Deutschland’ Quality Region) by the Deutscher Wanderverband (German Hiking Association).
