From the parking lot, we cross Münchhausenplatz street and Poller street toward the summer toboggan run. At the height of the summer toboggan run, we then go right up the hill on the "NaturErlebnisPfad Hopfenberg" to the "Vier Linden". This trail contains information boards about the habitat "deciduous forest" and its inhabitants. We continue hiking to the Krähenhütte, where we are rewarded with a beautiful view into the Weser valley towards Rühle. We continue further, and before we take the path to the upper trail of Hopfenberg, we have another nice view of the Weser valley. On reaching Hopfenberg, we take the paved forest path to the right in the direction of Piesekopf and Bodenwerder. At the next shelter, we have a view into the Emmer valley. Going further in the direction of Bodenwerder, we have a wide view of the landscape shortly before Bodenwerder. We can already see the first houses of Bodenwerder. The path then leads us above the Hakenberg to the nature experience trail "Hopfenberg". At the information board, we turn right to the summer toboggan run, where we turn left again to return to our starting point.

Take a detour from Hopfenberg to Lutterburgshöhe – there you have a panoramic view of Bodenwerder, the Weser valley, and the Vogler up to Rühle.
