Traditionally, the Whitsun weekend marks a special date in the calendar for sports fans and party-goers on the island of Norderney. Thousands of visitors flock to the North Sea island to watch Germany´s best windsurfers and beach volleyball players. At night, the festival grounds on the beach transform into a party animal´s paradise.
