Road bike tour - Teutoburg Forest and Nature and Geopark TERRA.vita

This circular tour is one of the most challenging stages in the Osnabrück region. Along the way through the Teutoburg Forest and the Nature and Geopark TERRA.vita, nearly 1,300 meters of elevation are gained – ideal for those seeking a sporting challenge.

The starting point is in Osnabrück. From there, the route initially leads south into the mountains of the Teutoburg Forest. Constant ascents and descents alternate, accompanied by wide views and dense forests. Places such as Tecklenburg and Bad Iburg lie along the way.

In the further course, the route leads north into the Hase Valley and up into the Wiehen Hills. Via Bad Essen, the tour finally runs in a wide arc through the varied landscape of the Nature and Geopark TERRA.vita back to Osnabrück, where the king stage ends.
