Osnabrück's Christmas market has been one of the most beautiful in the north for years and is a popular destination throughout Germany and internationally. Against the historic backdrop of the town hall, St. Mary's Church and St. Peter's Cathedral, it invites you to linger from November 24 to December 22, 2025 from 12 noon to 9 p.m. every day.
Highlights include the world's largest music box at the theater and the Telsemeyer family's over 100-year-old traditional carousel in front of the Westphalian Peace Town Hall. A visit is only complete with a mug of mulled wine, freshly roasted almonds and a hearty cheese grill.
Advent calendar: From December 1 to 22, a door is opened daily at 5 p.m. in the Advent calendar at the city weigh house.
Trombone sounds: Every Wednesday in December, the St. Marien trombone choir plays a concert from the Marienkirche tower.
