Waldkurpark Bad Iburg

What does a real forest smell like? And what does it feel like? You can easily find out in the Waldkurpark in Bad Iburg, because its giant trees, which are more than 250 years old, form a wonderfully shady, hectic-free natural space.

In addition to some beautiful walking paths, there are two excellent ways to experience nature in the Waldkurpark. Firstly, the treetop path, around 600 metres long, more than 30 metres high and thus always at eye level with squirrels, various birds and other treetop inhabitants. Secondly, three health trails of different lengths for barefoot hikers. The 1.4-kilometre short trail is recommended for beginners, because walking without shoes is much more strenuous for the untrained than one might think.
