Weseraquarium Bodenwerder

The Weseraquarium is a museum run on a voluntary and non-profit basis by the "Moby Dick" association. Here, young and old can learn about the fish of the Weser. They can be experienced live in the aquariums. Shipbuilding used to be an important economic factor in Bodenwerder. Some of the ships built here can be discovered as models in the exhibition. Children are always fascinated by the old tools that were used in the shipyards. Drinks and special dishes are available for all visitors in the small restaurant (shipyard galley). The Weseraquarium is a popular excursion destination and an educational destination for school trips, especially for schoolchildren.
