Hard but ohooo!
The route leads up to the namesakes of this quality tour, the tower of a former fortress on the Königszinne and the Bismarck Tower on the Eckberg, along winding paths and natural trails. Sure-footedness and a good level of fitness are required here, as there are many meters of altitude to overcome. The effort is rewarded by the varied route with rest stops and fantastic views of the wide river landscape of the Weser, the lower Lenne valley and the Münchhausen town of Bodenwerder. There you can take a short detour from this tour to discover further highlights in a historic old town that is well worth seeing. You will also find various places to stop for refreshments in the town on the Weser.
