Road bike route - loop in the TERRA.vita Nature and Geopark

This circular route leads from Osnabrück to the Wiehengebirge and combines a nature experience with a sporting challenge. From the city outskirts, it heads north into the varied landscape of the TERRA.vita Nature and Geopark. After a hilly start, a longer descent takes the route down to the Mittelland Canal.

There, it initially runs flat parallel to the water before the next climbs of the Wiehengebirge await. Well-paved roads lead through cool forests and open landscapes with fields and meadows.

From Schledehausen, the profile becomes significantly flatter – ideal conditions to pick up speed again on the last kilometers back to Osnabrück.
