Museumseisenbahn Hümmlinger Kreisbahn

The small red railcars, which only sometimes pulled a wagon, were popularly known as "rail buses". They have disappeared from the usual scheduled services. Between Lathen and Werlte, however, the Hümmlinger Kreisbahn museum railroad is once again regularly on the move with its VT 2. The nostalgic vehicle runs here on a historic route through the natural landscape of the Hümmling, which is considered by many to be the most beautiful railroad line in northern Germany.
