Baumwipfelpfad Bad Iburg
Unique and inspiring experiences above the treetops in Bad Iburg. The Bad Iburg treetop walk offers an intense forest experience over a length of almost 600 metres. As part of the UNESCO Global Geopark TERRA.vita, the trail and associated exhibition pavilion provide insights into the geological history of the Teutoburg Forest. The barrier-free access tower is over 30 metres high and offers a fantastic panoramic view of Iburg Castle and the Teutoburg Forest!
The treetop walk is now part of a digital adventure park that is unique in Germany. It is brought to life with the help of a specially programmed app: virtual encounters with forest animals, plants, fungi and insects - inspiring forest knowledge. Augmented reality (AR) is unique and extremely exciting. Plus virtual games of skill, knowledge and movement - experiencing nature and the environment together is the key! In addition, over 30 analogue experience and learning stations provide attractively packaged knowledge about flora, fauna, geology and history.
