Directions

The Weser Cycle Route runs over 520 km from the source of the Weser – the confluence of the Fulda and Werra rivers in Hann. Münden – to Cuxhaven on the North Sea. 8 stages are recommended, but depending on muscle strength and endurance, the route can be divided into more or fewer stages, entirely as you wish. Starting from Hann. Münden, the section in the Weserbergland passes through the towns of Bad Karlshafen, Beverungen, Höxter, Holzminden, Bodenwerder, Emmerthal, Hameln, and Rinteln. Continuing along the Weser, the Weser Cycle Route goes past the spa town of Bad Oeynhausen and Minden, before the Mittelweser region with Petershagen, Nienburg, Hoya, and Verden can be discovered on the cycle route. Via Bremen, Elsfleth, Brake, Nordenham, and Bremerhaven, the cycle route reaches its endpoint, the Kugelbake in Cuxhaven.
