The tour leads from the lively artists' village of Worpswede along Günnemoor and Verlüßmoor, where the birds of happiness spend the night in spring and fall. Passing the Hamberger and Niedersandhausener Moor nature reserves, the route returns to Worpswede. At Neu Helgoland, it is worth making a detour to the observation tower. Here, the Hammeniederung, which you have just passed through, lies at your feet. At Hammestrand, you can stop for a bite to eat and enjoy regional delicacies on one of the rustic terraces right by the river.
The 36 km signposted "Art and Crane" cycle tour is part of the Green Ring.
