Elberadweg von der Mündung bis Prag

Bicycle
From the source of the Elbe in the Giant Mountains to its mouth in the North Sea, the Elbe covers almost 1,100 km. As the cycle path does not always follow the banks of the Elbe 1:1 and makes a detour along the Vltava to Prague in the Czech Republic, the Elbe cycle path is approx. 1,270 kilometers long.

The Elbe Cycle Path has been one of the most popular long-distance cycle routes in Germany for years. From the fine North Sea beach, the Elbe Cycle Path leads through seven federal states to the source of the Elbe in the Czech Giant Mountains. Varied landscapes, from wide open spaces to picturesque villages and small towns such as the Hanseatic city of Stade to the metropolises of Hamburg and Prague await cyclists along the 1,270 km. The Elbe Cycle Path is signposted on both sides of the Elbe in many parts of the route. Bridges or ferries make it possible to change sides in many places.
