The green jewel of the region, the nature and adventure park, is just five minutes away from Bremervörde town center. A predominantly barrier-free garden and green landscape with Lake Vörder as its centerpiece.

The variety is remarkable: nature lovers can look forward to various themed gardens, a wetland biotope, extensive green spaces and a great view from the observation tower. A magnet for anyone interested in the pharmacy of nature is the apothecary and farmer's garden, which is located directly at the Haus am See - a Lower Saxon farmstead dating back to 1860 with a cozy restaurant under the thatched roof.
Be active
Active people can look forward to a visit to the KneippMeile with an arm pool and a water treading facility according to Sebastian Kneipp, an exercise trail or a beach volleyball court. A game of mini golf is also possible - as is a round of pedal boating on Lake Vörder. The disc golf course is brand new and unique in the region. Instead of hitting a ball with a club, discs are thrown which have to land in a catch basket at the end of the course. The trend sport for all generations! Afterwards, the SeeLounge invites you to relax.

There are humming stones, sound, smell and touch objects, balancing devices and much more - a real treasure trove of experiences for explorers of all ages. You can find out more about the World of the Senses in the House of the Senses from April to October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Group tours are offered at any time by appointment. From April to October, public "discovery tours" through the World of the Senses take place every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., and on the first Sunday in Advent there is an Advent tour by firelight.
Group tours of Café Dunkel are also available all year round by prior arrangement. Families, couples and individuals can experience Café Dunkel on up to five open dates a year.

Der Natur- und Erlebnispark Bremervörde ist überwiegend barrierefrei. Auch entsprechende Toiletten stehen im Restaurant Haus am See, im Seebistro Waterkieker neben der Minigolfanlage sowie auf der benachbarten Wohnmobilstation zur Verfügung.

Der Erholungsort Bremervörde liegt im Norden des Landkreises Rotenburg (Wümme). Der Natur- und Erlebnispark befindet sich direkt am Vörder See, nur fünf Gehminuten vom Stadtkern entfernt.
Anreise mit dem PKW:
Aus Bremerhaven folgen Sie der A 27 Richtung Bremen (Abfahrt Beverstedt) und der B 71 über Beverstedt und Basdahl.
Von Hamburg aus folgen Sie der A 26 und B 73 in Richtung Stade oder der A 1 in Richtung Bremen (Abfahrt Bockel) und dann der B 71 über Zeven und Selsingen.
Von Bremen und Hannover erreichen Sie Bremervörde über die A 27 in Richtung Bremerhaven (Abfahrt Ritterhude) und die B 74 (über Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Hambergen, Basdahl und Oerel).
Von Rotenburg (Wümme) folgen Sie der B 71 (über Zeven und Selsingen).
Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln:
Aus Richtung Cuxhaven und Bremerhaven fährt die Elbe-Weser-Bahn (EVB) nach Bremervörde. Aus Richtung Hamburg nehmen Sie die S-Bahn (S 5) von Hamburg Hbf nach Buxtehude. Kombinieren Sie Ihren Aufenthalt im Natur- und Erlebnispark mit einer Wanderung auf dem NORDPFAD Vörder See-Osteland. Der insgesamt 20 km lange Rundweg startet am "RiesenEi" und kann durch verschiedene Varianten auch abgekürzt werden.
