Directions

The circular tour starts in the middle of Bremervörde at the St. Liborius Church and leads in an anti-clockwise direction past the Bachmann Museum through the small Vorwerk forest, one of Bremervörde's local recreation areas. You cross the small Bach Bever stream and follow the cycle path next to the district road towards Minstedt. Shortly before the small village, the Tempelberg and the drinking water nature trail offer a welcome opportunity for a short breather before the tour continues from Minstedt to Plönjeshausen.

After extensive meadows and fields, you finally reach Plönjeshausen. At the end of the small village, you will find an idyllic home. Shortly behind it, you enter the impressive Beverner Forest. Enjoy the tour through the shady deciduous and mixed forest and listen to the sounds of nature, away from the background noise that usually surrounds us. Don't be surprised if you hear the murmur of a stream. The forest is criss-crossed by numerous streams that flow towards the Bever. The western and southern part is also a nature reserve and offers an ideal habitat for animals and birds thanks to the remaining old and dead wood.

The last stage takes you via Hesedorf, past the church and home and along the Horner Holz, back to Bremervörde. Take a look at the sports boat harbor and the Oste before returning to the starting point.

After the tour, the Vörder See lake, the nature and adventure park, the pedestrian zone or the Delphino family pool offer a nice end to the tour.

The route passes through the following towns:
Bremervörde - Minstedt - Bevern - Plönjeshausen - Hesedorf - Bremervörde

Additional information

The district of Rotenburg (Wümme) has an approx. 1,800 km long network of signposted cycle paths. Star cyclists can set off on several routes from one location. There are also eight long-distance cycle routes available for tours lasting several days.

If you find any discrepancies or errors in the signposting or in the designation of the routes, please let us know. We are working on the issue! A district-wide quality review of the cycle path network and cycle routes is currently underway. The results will help us to identify and rectify any weak points (e.g. missing signposting, twisted signs, impassable sections).

Do you use the KOMOOT app for route planning and on the road? Then you will be pleased to know that all of our cycle tours can be found on the KOMOOT online portal. You can also download the GPX track for the tour here (see green box on the right, below the map) and save it directly to your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. For further planning and routing on site, there are various free apps and programs that can be used to display the downloaded GPX tracks (e.g. on a smartphone).
