National Park House Wattenhuus Bensersiel
The "Wattenhuus Bensersiel" is an interactive environmental education facility that focuses on the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. The unique habitat of the Wadden Sea can be discovered in an entertaining way at the "Wattenhuus" in the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. In this house, the importance of the Wadden Sea for the animal and plant world is vividly presented and made tangible for young and old through various events such as mudflat walks / bird tours / land tours and hands-on stations in the house. The Wattenhuus Bensersiel offers visitors the opportunity to actively and interactively get to know the habitats of mudflats, salt marshes and the North Sea with as many senses as possible.
