The New Town Hall is a landmark of the city of Hanover and one of the most sought-after photo motifs.
The New Town Hall was built at the beginning of the 20th century in the grand style of the Wilhelminian era. The dome measures a proud 97.73 metres to the gilded top. An arched lift leads up to a viewing platform. From here, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view over Hanover. Inside, city models illustrate Hannover's development in four phases: 1689, 1939, after the destruction in 1945 and today.
