During a tour of the exhibition, parents and children learn what happened in Kalkriese 2000 years ago, how the Romans and Germanic tribes lived and how an English major found the ancient battlefield over 30 years ago. You can also take a look at our re-exhibited rail tank.
The tour lasts 90 minutes and costs €43.00 including admission for families (2 adults plus children). Individual visitors pay €18.00 (€15.00 reduced). Children up to the age of 6 have free admission.
After the guided tour, there are two different stations to try out and take part in: Germanic cubes are formed from clay and soil layers are created in glass.
Participation in the hands-on programs costs €5.00 per child.
Note: The hands-on stations are open from 13:30 to 15:00
