Varusschlacht: Mit Schwert und Schild

Equipped with authentic clothing and weapons, a Roman and a Teuton take visitors on a tour of the exhibition. The guided tour is all about the equipment and fighting techniques used at the time of the Varus Battle. How were the Romans and Teutons equipped and what were the advantages and disadvantages of the various weapons? Which fighting techniques were used and why? And how do we actually know all this so precisely? In smaller performances, Romans and Teutons provide insights into the techniques and training of their former opponents.
