How were the Germanic tribes able to defeat the Romans in the Varus Battle more than 2000 years ago? How did they live and what do the archaeological finds in Kalkriese tell us about the past? Young and old will get answers to these and other questions on a family tour of the permanent exhibition at 2 p.m.
Families only pay admission on Family Sunday. Children under the age of six are admitted free of charge. There is a material cost of €3.00 for the hands-on program.
