Ausstellung - Marc Taschowsky

The flood of images in the media is omnipresent. It unconsciously implants itself in our collective visual memory. This can certainly be viewed critically or even negatively. For a painter like Marc Taschowsky, however, it offers access to an inexhaustible supply of visual motifs of every kind. Through their transformation into paintings, these motifs evolve from fleeting, disembodied images into relevant, classical works of art. Marc Taschowsky playfully seeks a state of the image that surprises him and continually presents new challenges.
