One of the main themes of the interactive permanent exhibition at the Wadden Sea Visitor Center on Wilhelmshaven’s Südstrand is a vivid presentation of the Wadden Sea’s birdlife.
This unique habitat provides millions of migratory birds—on their journeys from breeding grounds to wintering grounds and back again—with enough food to cover the extreme distances they fly and successfully raise their young in their breeding grounds.
