Naturally wild, surprisingly gentle, genuinely diverse ...
Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can explore the Solling-Vogler Nature Park's various habitats, visit our pastures, discover the different cultural landscapes on extensive hiking trails, enjoy a variety of sights and spectacular views. The Solling-Vogler Nature Park is still relatively untouched in the middle of the beautiful Weserbergland region and covers an area of around 755 square kilometers with extensive forests, gentle hills, lovely meadow valleys, clear streams, narrow mountain ridges, steep slopes and deeply incised valleys. Extensive orchards, rare dry grasslands, colorful hedges and quaint-looking moors form an inviting, unique landscape that can be explored on your own or as part of a guided tour. With sustainable projects, the nature park ensures the protection of nature and landscape and brings them into harmony with the interests of mankind in order to achieve nature-friendly development of the region through harmonious coexistence.

The nature park is part of the National Natural Landscapes (NNL). In this alliance, the German national parks, nature parks, biosphere reserves and wilderness areas preserve fascinating nature together with the people on around a third of Germany's surface area, convey the joy of experiencing nature and shape the future sustainably with confidence. It stands for diversity, tolerance and democracy.
