The cycle route leads along the two rivers Wümme and Wörpe on predominantly low-traffic roads through the picturesque moor and meadow landscape of Lilienthal's "4-village region": Seebergen and Heidberg in the east are evidence of 18th century moor colonization, Worphausen in the north goes back to eight villages founded by Findorff and St. Jürgen in the west is dominated by its 12th century church built on a "Warf".
