Experience nature up close at Langwarder Groden.
The Langwarder Groden between Fedderwardersiel and Langwarden is the best place for birdwatching in Butjadingen. A 5.4 km circular trail offers a special kind of nature experience.

The unique nature can be viewed particularly well from several observation stands, footbridges and a bridge that leads onto the foreshore. Numerous information boards tell you more about nature and the landscape. Interactive models invite you to discover this interesting habitat. The Langwarder Groden is located in the middle of the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and offers hikers a varied discovery tour.

The development and changes in the newly created tidal flat landscape, such as tidal flats, mudflats and salt marshes, can be observed via a direct circular hiking trail. Visitors can directly experience the visible water levels, which change twice a day, and the associated flora and fauna. This makes it possible to experience the dynamics of the tides and the fauna and flora of the salt marshes up close and without barriers, without disturbing the sensitive biotopes.

The "Natur Erleben Langwarder Groden" project has created an attractive opportunity to experience nature that is unique in Germany and on the North Sea.
