This tour through the northern part of the district offers plenty of variety. The landscape of the Geest is characterized by deep forests, wide meadows and farmland. In Axstedt and Paddewisch you will come across Neolithic burial sites, while the wooded area to the west of Lübberstedt railroad station is home to the "Muna", a former ammunition factory from the Second World War. In summer, the cool waters of the Stedener See lake tempt you to take a break from cycling.
