De schöne un dat Moor

The De Schöne und dat Moor trail leads through old oak forests, a boardwalk over wet marshland and along grasslands where hundreds of geese rest in winter. You also pass an old manual peat cutting. If you look closely, you can discover sundews along the boardwalk and hear the calls of the oriole in the oak forest or see a black woodpecker gliding through the trees.

There is also a beautiful view over Lake Halem from the bat tower.
