The Wendland Roundel Museum is located in the middle of the idyllic village of Lübeln. Covering an area of around 2.23 hectares, the open-air museum offers numerous exhibitions, experience points and historical buildings. Here you can find information about the origins of the Rundling villages and how people lived here in past centuries.
An impression of the life of the rural population in the 19th century is conveyed by the three-stall hall house, which is furnished true to the original. It is also worth taking a look at the old village smithy and the wheelwright's workshop. Another building is dedicated to the production of flax linen. The Parum-Schultze House shows the life and work of one of the last remaining Slavic-speaking farmers and village chroniclers in Wendland. His chronicle, written around 1720, gives a vivid impression of everyday village life in Wendland shortly after the Thirty Years' War.
