Natur- und Familienbad Fümmelsee

As soon as the temperatures are warm enough between May and September, there is only one destination for many Wolfenbüttel residents: the Fümmelsee nature and family pool. With a total area of 37,800 square meters, it offers sport, fun, relaxation or simply a little break from everyday life.
The park-like facility has a high recreational value and is a popular meeting place for generations of Wolfenbüttel residents. The long jetty practically invites you to jump into the natural bathing lake, cool off and swim a few lengths. For non-swimmers, there is a pool with a water slide and water mushroom. Those who prefer to stay on dry land can choose between the playground, beach volleyball court and boules court - or make themselves comfortable on one of the various sunbathing lawns. There is a kiosk and the "Fümmelsee-Terrassen" restaurant for refreshments.
The "Fümmelsee" nature and family pool is run by the Wolfenbütteler Schwimmverein von 1921 e.V., whose members are committed to maintaining and developing the family pool. Various sporting events and festivals take place throughout the year.
