The lake measures around 800 x 1,200 meters, covers an area of around 62 hectares and is up to 18 meters deep.
The body of water has a sandy beach around 1,000 meters long, where there is a "baby bay" with shallow water. There, small children can play in the water under supervision near a DLRG rescue tower. The recreation area surrounding the lake, including the vacation home area, is around 222 hectares in size.
The lake and the local recreation area with its facilities offer a wide range of leisure activities such as fishing, bathing and swimming, experience tower, minigolf, children's autoscooters, sailing, diving, surfing, stand-up paddling, tennis and squash, barbecues, disc golf and pedal boat hire. A campsite, camping site, the seaside hotel and vacation homes offer accommodation.Good to know
