The House of Media Art Oldenburg is all about international contemporary art. In the simple, square brick building right next to the municipal cultural center PFL in Oldenburg, changing exhibitions focus on this common theme: "How are new media changing our communication and thus our everyday world?"

Exhibitions and events

The museum's exhibition program changes regularly. There are always talks with artists, lectures, guided tours with curators and a diverse educational program. The House of Media Art also supports artists: every year, the international scholarship program for media art of the Lower Saxony Foundation enables three new projects to be realized here. Therefore, every visit to the House of Media Art Oldenburg offers new experiences and encounters with contemporary art.

Tip for visitors: Admission is free on the fourth Saturday of every month, and there are free guided tours every Sunday at 3 pm. Admission is always free for students at Oldenburg universities and for people aged 17 and under.
