The Bell Palace
In 1996, former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and his wife Raisa laid the cornerstone for the Bell Palace. Originally, the building—designed in the style of an Eastern European monastery—housed the European Institute of Arts and Crafts, along with exhibition spaces, a bell foundry, and exhibition and meeting spaces dedicated to the work of Nobel Peace Prize laureates Albert Schweitzer and Mikhail Gorbachev.

Classic Superbikes Museum

The gallery-style exhibition of the artifacts spans the entire building across all three floors. This allows visitors to view street and racing motorcycles from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s in a unique setting.

One highlight among many other motorcycles is Peter Maffay’s 1978 Suzuki GS 550, to which an entire studio in the palace is dedicated. 

Exhibits related to motorcycle technology and apparel are also on display, such as the first Fackelmann riding suit.

In addition, the attractive grounds can be used for exhibitions and gatherings of classic motorcycle and brand-specific clubs.

The museum also serves as a resource center for people seeking assistance and advice on all matters related to classic motorcycles. 

Museum Gallery
The museum gallery hosts annually changing exhibitions. During the 2026 season, Michael Fries’ Pop Art exhibition, featuring over 50 large-format works, will be on display there.

In addition to the Wrobel Hall, which presents the history of the Glockenpalast through images and sound, the museum offers a glimpse into the bell foundry, including the Chernobyl Bell.
 
Café
The café offers delicious cakes, pastries, specialty coffee and tea, and cold beverages. When the weather is nice, the courtyard serves as a café and beer garden.

The avenue in front of the Bell Palace features the monument to the European Liberty Bell, which weighs over ten metric tons, is occasionally open to visitors.
