Following the example of medieval monastery gardens, the plants are arranged along a cross-shaped path in four "quarters".
In the front part of the garden, symbolic plants and plants from the Bible can be found, while the rear beds are dedicated to monastery medicine.
In the immediate vicinity is Kathes Bauerngarten, a green oasis based on the medieval model. Herbs with a magical effect grow here - the so-called magic and oracle plants such as verbena or margarites.
