The largest structure on the Neuhaus-Brahlstorf railway line was the bridge in Preten: It spans the River Sude with three large steel truss girders. The company Louis Eilers from Hanover built it in 1911 and it is now being extensively renovated. Today, a nationally important cycle and hiking trail leads over the former railway connection from Neuhaus via Preten to Brahlstorf. Among other things, the biosphere crossing from Brahlstorf to Dahlenburg runs here. The bridge is a historically valuable structure that needs to be preserved.

The best way to get there is via the Brahlstorf-Dahlenburg-Lemgrabe "Biosphärenquerung" cycle route. The route from Brahlstorf to Neuhaus runs along the old railway embankment.
