Zu Fuß zur Vogelschutzinsel Minsener Oog - Wattwanderung

This four-and-a-half-hour mudflat hike to the uninhabited bird sanctuary island of Minsener Oog is easy to walk and gives us plenty of time for explanations about the tides and mudflat inhabitants. Just before reaching the island, we’ll cross two deep tidal channels. After four kilometers, we’ll enjoy a break in the island’s unspoiled landscape and have the chance to meet the bird wardens working here and hear about their daily lives. Anyone who’d like to can now enjoy the picnic they’ve brought along. On the way back along the Jade shipping channel, everyone can once again take in the unspoiled nature. With a little luck, you might even spot seals and porpoises.

Anyone aged 8 and older is welcome to participate.
