Wattenmeer-Erlebnisausstellung im Nationalpark-Haus Dangast

Exhibition
Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park
Open daily except Mondays: The large interactive exhibition for the whole family dedicated to the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park
What animals actually live in the Jadebusen? What animals are part of the underwater world? And what do seals really look like? The 500 m² interactive exhibition at the Dangast National Park Center is suitable for the whole family and impressively showcases what makes the Jadebusen and Dangast so special.

The exhibition features Wadden Sea aquariums, landscape models with real animal specimens, and a gift shop.

Hours:
Tue. - Fri.: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.,
Sat., Sun., and holidays: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.,
Closed on Mondays.

Admission is free. You can support the museum directly by donating to the donation box at the entrance.

Important note: We expect to temporarily close the exhibition starting at the end of summer break to carry out a major building renovation in 2026/27 and install a brand-new interactive exhibition. Stay tuned! Our mudflat tours, seminars, school field trips, and group events will continue to take place during this time.

We offer our mudflat tours “What Lives in the Mudflats?”, the hands-on tours for kids “Mudflats for Kids,” and other tours on an ongoing basis throughout the season via the World Natural Heritage Portal / Dangast-Quellbad. You can find the dates in this event calendar.
