Kids'Mudflat SAFARI: Let's head to the mudflats! The Mudflat Safari is calling! What’s all that wriggling, shelling, and crawling going on in the mudflats? Dig, search, find, and marvel—a mudflat adventure for KIDS! Together, we’ll go on a treasure hunt and experience the Wadden Sea up close. This event is for children ages 4 to 7 who want to discover the world of the Wadden Sea through play. Armed with a net and a magnifying glass, we’ll set out to find clams and crabs, explore the mudflats, and meet their fascinating inhabitants. After our adventure, every child will receive a certificate as a souvenir. If you’d like, feel free to bring your own bucket and shovel—because there’s so much to discover in the Wadden Sea. Here, you—the children—are the focus: You’ll have lots of fun getting to know the fascinating flora and fauna of the Wadden Sea. Certified National Park tour with a National Park guide!
This event is exclusively for children. It is mandatory to register one paying adult supervisor per family.
(Cost for one adult supervisor: 6.00 €. One adult per family. NOT per child. Example: In a family of four, the second adult pays 11 €, since one adult is sufficient.
Please have only one adult accompany the child(ren) (within a family), as this is a children’s event. Otherwise, there will be fewer spots available for children. Thank you for your understanding. Tip: You’ll save €1.00 per person if you book ONLINE!
For safety reasons, a mudflat hike is not possible with a child or baby in a carrier. Children and babies may not be carried on the mudflats, not even on the shoulders. No mudflat hike. The tour takes place with a minimum of 5 children! We reserve the right to cancel the event up to 2 hours before it begins.
