On our guided tour “Watt im Haus”, we’ll take you on a fascinating journey through the coastal landscape surrounding the Wadden Sea. In a relaxed atmosphere—without any wind, rain, or wet feet—you’ll explore our new exhibition and learn what makes the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, so unique.

The focus is on the naturalness and diversity of this habitat: Which animals and plants live here, how they adapt to the tides—and how the Wadden Sea is changing in the face of climate change. Why is this landscape so dynamic, so resilient, and at the same time so worthy of protection?

The guided tour is suitable for all ages, is accessible, lasts about 45 minutes, and is perfect for anyone who is curious and eager to learn more about the Wadden Sea. Whether it’s sunny or rainy: This journey of discovery takes place at the Wattenhuus National Park Center, regardless of the weather.
