Sommerfest im Landgestüt

For the third time, we invite visitors to experience a special weekend right in the heart of the city. Amid the historic buildings of the time-honored stud farm, a varied program for the whole family awaits you.

Numerous traditional displays and historical elements will be presented on the magnificent parade ground. The program is complemented by a large exhibition area in the stables, which invites visitors to stroll around and explore. Once again this year, guests can look forward to a diverse daily program. In several show segments, we’ll showcase our various horse breeds, impressive carriage driving displays with historic carriages, as well as high-level dressage and show jumping. A special highlight is, of course, once again the grand dressage quadrille featuring 24 stallions, which thrills the audience year after year.

But the horses aren’t the only focus of the summer festival. Visitors can also experience firsthand various traditional crafts that are still practiced at the State Stud today. The weekend is rounded out by a large exhibition area featuring over 80 exhibitors and street performers. Offerings in the areas of lifestyle, fashion, equestrian supplies, and home and garden décor invite you to browse, as does a diverse culinary selection perfect for enjoying and lingering.
