Diverse, entertaining, and of the highest musical caliber: The German Brass Quintet has been impressing audiences for over 40 years with its unique sound, magnificent interpretations, and its own rousing arrangements. The ensemble has won numerous first prizes at various competitions—including, in the 1980s, two first prizes at the national “Jugend musiziert” competition — received invitations to the most renowned German festivals, performed at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall (including a live broadcast on DeutschlandRadio), and was celebrated by the music press for its radio recordings and CD releases. Countless concerts, performances at international events, and TV appearances—such as on “Der Große Preis” with Wim Thoelke—have made the German Brass Quintet a unique entity in the national music scene. 

Last year, the five musicians were also celebrated in the Netherlands and Germany. It is therefore a great pleasure to be able to experience their unmistakable musical spirit for the first time at Iburg Castle.
