Plankton unter dem Mikroskop
Under the microscope, a fascinating miniature world unfolds: plant and animal plankton in all shapes and sizes, tiny larvae of clams, snails, and worms—and, with a little luck, even the tiny offspring of starfish, sea urchins, or barnacles.
The phenomenon of bioluminescence, the importance of food chains, and many other secrets of the ocean are also explained.
The team at the National Park Center introduces participants to working with microscopes and binoculars, explains how the equipment works, and offers valuable tips for independent research.
Note: Participants must be at least 6 years old. Minors may only participate when accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required. Tickets are available at the tourist information offices in Hooksiel and Horumersiel or HERE online.
Venue: Wangerland National Park Center, Kirchstraße 9, 26434 Wangerland Minsen
