Cast off! On this adventure cruise, you’ll get to know seals, fish, and other inhabitants of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and experience the forces of nature in this unique landscape.
The seal-watching tour takes you close to the resting spots of the marine mammals native to the Jadebusen without disturbing them. You can observe the animals clearly from the boat. In the spring, with a bit of luck, you might even spot porpoises that live in the North Sea.
During the trip, a trawl net is lowered into the water, giving you a glimpse of the diversity of life in the Wadden Sea. You can marvel at flounder, starfish, crabs, hermit crabs, clams, or shrimp, depending on the catch.
The tours are led by certified staff from the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site Visitor Center. Don’t miss our unique full-moon cruise out onto the Jade River.
Tickets are available online—up to 24 hours before departure—at the ticket shop of the Wadden Sea Visitor Center.
Remaining tickets are available on the day of the cruise at the ticket counter on site.
