Führung | Die Jagd im Wandel der Zeit
Where today the treetop path leads through the treetops, the forest was once a place of power, order and property.
This guided tour takes you on a journey through time through the hunting history of the Iburg forest - from its beginnings as a livelihood to courtly staging and today's responsibility towards nature and game.
You will find out what role the nobility played in Bad Iburg, why hunting was long a privilege and how the way the forest has been treated has changed fundamentally over the centuries.
The tour combines the treetop path with historical visual axes, old paths and stories that originated right here. It's not about dry dates, but about connections, decisions and the lives of the people who shaped the forest.
