At the "Look into Neptune's Garden", you can actively immerse yourself in the world of the Wadden Sea's animal inhabitants and feel the power of the sea! Under the guidance of an employee from the Wadden Sea Visitor Center, a trawl net is pulled from the beach through the tidal flat in front of the south beach using joint muscle power. This method allows participants to fish deeper in the tidal flat without having to go far into the water themselves.
The net is then pulled out of the water and the catch sorted by species, by fish, crabs, mussels and snails. At the same time, you will learn exciting and interesting facts about the way of life of the animals in the Wadden Sea. Additional information on the topic of (sustainable) fishing completes this special excursion.
A special experience for the whole family!
