Silberborn is the starting point of the sixth stage: just above the village, the path leads the hiker to the Mecklenbruch raised bog. The raised bog is the largest in the Solling at 63 ha and accessible to hikers via a boardwalk. This bog area offers a unique natural experience at any time of the year. Past the TreeRock Adventure Park Hochsolling, the Weserbergland-Weg descends into Hellental. Lush green meadows and pastures, cows with cowbells, buzzing bees, and chirping grasshoppers evoke a touch of alpine flair. Along the forest edge, past grain fields and wide meadows, the path leads over Merxhausen and Heinade up to the Holzberg. From here the hiker has a stunning view of the day’s stage destination: Stadtoldendorf at the foot of the Homburg on the Tillberg. Stadtoldendorf is a tranquil small half-timbered town with fountains and many small alleys inviting exploration.

Directions
Silberborn, located in the middle of the Solling-Vogler Nature Park, is the starting point of this stage. Above the village, the Weserbergland-Weg takes you to the Mecklenbruch raised bog, the largest raised bog in the Solling. With an area of 63 hectares and a unique boardwalk access, the raised bog is one of a kind in the Weserbergland. The combination of 4,300-year-old peat layers with carnivorous plants and primeval plant species promises a beautiful light with a mystical atmosphere at any time of the year. On some days, you might even think you see delicate fairies and elves dancing over the bog.
After this extraordinary natural spectacle, you can test your fear of heights and courage at the TreeRock Adventure Park Hochsolling. The forest rope garden, equipped with the most advanced safety system in Germany, includes 91 climbing stations in 9 difficulty levels in the adventure area. All climbers are supervised by guides specifically trained for the facility. From the climbing park, the Weserbergland-Weg descends towards Hellental. Lush green meadows and pastures as well as chirping grasshoppers exude a touch of alpine flair. A perfect place for a short break is the local restaurant with a beer garden. Along forest edges, grain fields, and streams, the route leads from Hellental via Merxhausen and Heinade to the Holzberg. From here, you have a fantastic view of your stage destination Stadtoldendorf. The town lies at the foot of the legendary Homburg on the Tillberg and is a quaint half-timbered town with alleys and fountains.
