Wanderung "Rund um Meyenburg"

The 12 km hike starts at the watermill in Meyenburg and leads out of the village along the manor, the Melkhus and St. Luciae Church. You hike in a wide arc around the small village and walk along meadows, fields and romantic streams. Watch the clouds play in the sky or simply listen to the surroundings.

After crossing the A27 highway, the hiking trail runs parallel to the A27 in the Schmidts Kiefern forest area. After crossing back over the A27, there is a megalithic tomb at the edge of the path. The stone tomb consists of 21 erratic blocks and is 11 m long, 4 m wide and weighs approx. 12 tons. The megalithic tombs in the region were created around 5,000 years ago and were used as burial sites for long periods of time.

Once you have reached the starting point again, it is worth making a short detour to the mill pond to relax a little at the end of the tour with a great view.
